[COLOR=white][FONT=Verdana]World of Warcraft was my first MMO, and I was very hesitant to play it coming from the RTS world, mainly Starcraft (Yan[GG]ura), but my friends convinced me to play at my sophomore football banquet one week before the release of Vanilla WoW. Keeping this as brief as I can, I joined the guild on Lightning’s Blade with the Mage (Yanggura) and successful PvPed with Ming ([URL=\"http://www.worldofming.com/\"][COLOR=white]www.worldofming.com[/COLOR][/URL]) and was the third GM when the PvP system was first introduced. In the PvE realm, hit every server first up to Ragnaros where the guild split the night of the first kill (an inevitable decline due to the GM/Officer relationship), and three of the four officers created a new guild, that brought many of the old players and reformed many of the problems, with myself as the GM. We received every server first in BWL, AQ40, and Naxx (save Viscidus), and I rerolled a Prot Warrior, Issues, to MT (our old MT was the old GM), which eventually took the place of my Mage as my main. At the same time I looked to join a guild of even better caliber than server-firsts, world first, and I had to look no farther than on Shattered Hand. I believe that you guys/gals were on that server for some of vanilla do I do not think that I need to list any of the accomplishments that I had here. I was an OT for a long time and had the most fun I have ever had playing this game. ALEXTREBEK was my name (sold my account, more later). [/FONT][/COLOR] 

[COLOR=white][FONT=Verdana]Just before the release of BC, my guild Lost Chapter fell apart (kind of) and I started raiding solely with DnT, and my two best real life friends (the ones who convinced me to play) quit the game. I continued on, excited to venture into new content, and continued on successfully in Outlands. A few months later, my friends decided to reroll Horde on Auchindoun, and I concurrently started a new player there. I loved tanking and wanted a different tanking experience, so I chose a Paladin, Antonio, for this job. My one friend rolled a warrior and wanted to Tank, but with my experience tanking in BC, I ended up MTing almost all progression content with my Paladin. My Warrior friend was the GM of this new guild and because of my experience and relationship with him; I was the Raid Leader and also an officer. I concurrently raided on my Warrior and Paladin through Sunwell with high-profile leadership positions in both guilds and on both servers.[/FONT][/COLOR]

[COLOR=white][FONT=Verdana]The day that downed Ragnaros for the first time was one of the happiest moments of my WoW career, but also brought with it a lot of controversy that has plagued me since. was an extremely famous guild due to that fact that no other guild on the server really made much progress in the early days of raiding. The GM was extremely popular and when we split, we all looked like the bad guy because the community loved him so much, and hated Ming and his arrogance with a passion (we brought him along with us). Due to the fact that I was the GM of this new guild, I took the brunt of the attacks, which to this day I still cannot get rid of. With this new expansion I have decided that it is time for me to hang it up on Lightning’s Blade to escape the incessant, daily tells that I am an asshole, even though it is two years after the fact. I loved my guildies there, but fell apart (but has since been reformed with the old guildies – my warrior Issues is still there, and has been for some time, so it is time to finally pack it in.[/FONT][/COLOR] 

[COLOR=white][FONT=Verdana]As for , I never really liked the Paladin tank. In fact, in many instances I hated it. I just played for the simple fact that my best friends were there and that I loved to play with them and talk to them since we all moved away to different colleges. They will not be continuing hardcore into WotLK, and because I still want to, I have decided to hang it up there as well.[/FONT][/COLOR] 

[COLOR=white][FONT=Verdana]When DnT fell apart in June of this year, I was almost happy. There had been so many problems with people taking loot and leaving the guild and just being complete tools, but I refused to quit because I loved my guildies like real life friends and I had even met many of them in real life. When they fell apart I had to get away from the game, so I quit. Wrath of the Lich King looked phenomenal though, and as many people have said, it is impossible to truly leave this game. This led me into a huge problem: Where can I go to be a part of a group and a community that expects excellence just as I have for the past almost 4 years? I rolled on Skullcrusher for sentimental purposes. It was the server with (back in the day) and and I had a respect for these two guilds that was unparalled back during my time as a GM with the way that they ran the server as GM’s of big guilds usually do, especially back in vanilla. I have not really found a home, however. I applied to , but was accepted as a 5th warrior and that is definitely not something that I want to do. I need a close knit group of people that I feel a part of, and while doing some heroics today, I stumbled across a group of and was impressed with their courtesy and efficiency. After speaking further I have decided to apply to a guild with the intention of truly helping. I understand that you are not as hardcore and what I have become accustomed to, but I think that this is what I want – a stable environment with people that enjoy the game.

I would happily sit out, wait my turn, or even farm mats that the guild may need for raids if I was not picked to be in for a raid or a fight. I attend the Naval Academy and as such, am a part of the Armed Forces seasoned from an entire Plebe Summer and Year of “boot camp.” I know I have thick-skin and take any kind of criticism, understand it for what it’s worth, and improve. Above everything I strive to be the best in everything that I do, including WoW, which is a big part of my life. I am sorry for the length of this application. I tried to keep it as short as possible, but I had a lot I wanted to convey and wanted to give you the clearest picture that I can about my character, play-style and myself.
